Omega Gamma Gamma Promotes Health, Unity, and Family Reunification through 5K Unity Walk/Run
Warner Robins, GA – September 27, 2025
The Brothers of the Omega Gamma Gamma Chapter of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc. joined forces with the Priss & Frank Family Center to host the 2025 5K Unity Walk/Run at Fellowship Bible Baptist Church.
This annual event brought families, community organizations, and fraternity members together for a morning of fitness, fellowship, and purpose — promoting child-abuse prevention and celebrating family reunification across Houston County.
Building Health and Community
The 5K Unity Walk/Run embodied Omega’s commitment to uplifting communities through service and education. Participants of all ages laced up their sneakers to walk or run in support of stronger, healthier families.
The event featured a lively atmosphere with music, refreshments, and encouragement from volunteers. Proceeds from the walk will benefit ongoing outreach initiatives supporting family wellness, youth development, and community awareness.
Service in Action
Approximately 14 members of Omega Gamma Gamma volunteered to coordinate race operations, registration, and safety, contributing nearly 30 man-hours of service.
Their collective effort, in partnership with community sponsors and local families, ensured the event’s smooth execution and lasting impact.
Looking Ahead
The chapter’s Health Initiative Committee continues to champion programs that promote physical and mental well-being throughout Middle Georgia.
The next initiative — the QGG Blood Drive — is tentatively scheduled for February 7, 2026. More details will be available on the chapter’s website and social media platforms.

The Omega Gamma Gamma Chapter extends heartfelt gratitude to the Priss & Frank Family Center, Fellowship Bible Baptist Church, event sponsors, and all participants who helped make this initiative a success.
