Omega Gamma Gamma Hosts Family Social to Celebrate Brotherhood and Community

Warner Robins, GA — On Saturday, July 12, 2025, the Brothers of Omega Gamma Gamma Chapter gathered at Peavy Park for a vibrant afternoon of fellowship, food, and family during the annual QGG Family Social.

Under clear skies and surrounded by the purple and gold, chapter members were joined by loved ones, community supporters, and several interested guests who came to witness the strength of Omega’s bond outside of the formal meeting room. The event featured grilled food, music, lawn games, and plenty of space for laughter, conversation, and connection.

“This is what Omega looks like when we’re at our best — together, serving our families and nurturing the relationships that ground us,” said one Brother. “It’s not just about service or protocol; it’s about being present.”

For many, the QGG Family Social is more than just a summer gathering — it’s a celebration of values. With children running through the grass, line brothers reconnecting, and new faces welcomed with open arms, the event reaffirmed what Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc. stands for: Friendship, community, and generational legacy.

The chapter’s leadership expressed their gratitude to all who attended and helped make the event a success. “We thank every Brother who brought their family, manned a grill, set up tents, or just showed up in support,” said Vice Basileus Robert L. Watkins III. “This chapter continues to grow because we don’t just talk about it — we show it.”

As Omega Gamma Gamma presses forward in its service and uplift efforts throughout the Warner Robins area, events like the Family Social remind us that the strength of a chapter starts at home.
